SYNOPSIS

When Karl falls from a tree and catches a glimpse of the afterlife -a bleak, lonely place- his world shifts. Fear takes a hold of him, and now he’s hiding from the life beyond his window. On the first night he is left home alone, a power outage engulfs him in darkness, mirroring the realm of death. Just as panic sets in, his elderly neighbor, Ingeborg, knocks on his door, offering shelter in her brightly lit home. What Karl doesn’t realize is that this is Ingeborg’s last night on earth – and she has plans for him. As the afterlife draws near, Ingeborg's fear grows, and Karl must confront his own fear of death to help her cross over to the other side.
