SYNOPSIS

Kamal, a 33-year-old Syrian migrant who wants to reach his family in Germany, is transiting through Romania for two days. He is hiding in an abandoned house, waiting for the opportune moment when a contact can facilitate his clandestine border crossing. When the moment arrives, he faces a situation that could jeopardize his freedom and the possibility of seeing his family again. Kamal is forced to choose between arriving on time at the location where a car is supposed to pick him up to take him across the border, or saving a girl from rape whose cries he hears on his path to freedom.
