SYNOPSIS

Poem of the Past is a 7-minute experimental short film without dialogue. The film uses imagery as a medium to present a poem themed on the past, transcending the traditional definition that poetry must be composed of words. It is no longer confined to text but instead employs visuals and sound effects as its vehicles to record memories and feelings of the past—regrets and traumas—through abstract cinematic imagery. This visual poem is divided into three chapters, following an old television set as it traverses through three segments, revisiting the pain and trauma brought by the past, and ultimately finding inner peace.
