SYNOPSIS

For nearly thirty years, I have heard the story of my grandmother, Hanne, from many different perspectives. As a child, it shaped my understanding of the world, forcing me to confront deep questions about injustice and the loss of innocence. The tragic disappearance of my grandfather and uncle during the 1975 events left my grandmother searching tirelessly for any sign of them. It is this search, the emotional weight she carried, that inspired me to tell her story. Through this film, I wanted to express not only the pain of her journey but also the universal theme of injustice that strips away our innocence. This is a deeply personal film, one that I’ve created to share my grandmother’s experiences from my own point of view.
