SYNOPSIS

“Under the Sun” is the story of a teenager named Semyon, whose family fell apart after his parents’ divorce. His father, Klim, long ago lost hope and strength, having given up on himself. His mother, Polina, gathered her courage, left the past behind, and moved away to build a new foundation for her son’s future. Semyon was always closer to his mother, and he eagerly awaits the chance to leave and join her, all the while constantly clashing with his uncomprehending father.
