SYNOPSIS

In the heart of a 1950s working-class courtyard, Charlotte comes upon a barefoot child in tears. Overhead, his shoes dangle from a wire. What begins as a simple act of kindness soon draws in the entire neighborhood and proves trickier than anyone imagined.
