SYNOPSIS

Qin Guisheng is a coffin maker who has devoted his life to making coffins. Even though he suffers from a hereditary illness and his business has been affected by cremation policies, he never gives up his craft. One day, he visits Wei Qiming’s father’s seventieth birthday party and proposes to make a "longevity-extending" coffin for the old man. The Wei family scorns his proposal at first, but when Wei’s father suddenly falls critically ill, Qiming and his wife have no choice but to ask Guisheng for help. However, after accepting the order, Guisheng discovers that he must face his own impending death. Caressing the precious sandalwood brought by Qiming and his wife, he loses himself in thought......
