SYNOPSIS

As he prepares to become a father, the anxious David invites his own father, Kees, to a cryotherapy session at an upscale wellness center. Hoping to reconnect and finally confront a long-buried family secret tainted by sexual abuse, David is haunted by the recent death of his grandfather and the impending birth of his daughter. Secretly, he fears he may inherit the same darkness as his grandfather, that the cycle might continue through him. With the grandfather's cremation looming and his girlfriend’s due date fast approaching, life and death seem to collide, merging past and future in a single moment of truth. David is faced with a burning question: can the cycle of pain and abuse end with his grandfather’s passing, or will the unresolved trauma overshadow his own child’s life?
