SYNOPSIS

In a crumbling convent in Mumbai, a series of violent deaths leaves behind a single survivor - a young nun tied to her bed, possessed by a force far more ancient than Catholic scripture can name. A young priest arrives at dusk, armed with only faith and ritual, unaware that this exorcism will not be a battle between good and evil, but between repression and temptation. As the storm outside intensifies, so does the battle within. The priest is lured into a psychological game by the entity, one that exploits his hidden desires and doubts. What unfolds is a terrifying confrontation where salvation and damnation blur - and no one leaves untouched. “Xarax” is a visceral, slow-burn psychological horror that mixes traditional exorcism tropes with an unsettling intimacy, exploring faith, lust, and the thin veil between the divine and the demonic.
