SYNOPSIS

We follow the journey of Mélanie, a young adult, who flees home with her mother to escape the violence and imprisonment imposed by her father. Mélanie and Karine, mother and daughter, execute their escape plan, which has been in preparation for many months. The two women no longer leave the house: Karine is accustomed to confinement, while Mélanie, a recent high school graduate, fears never seeing the light of day again now that she has no obligations forcing her to go outside. They are subjected to a form of confinement imposed by Pierre, the father. They take advantage of his absence to make their escape.
