SYNOPSIS
Going to a summons from Prefect Charles Marion, Jacques Lespès, Sub-Prefect of Bonneville and member of the French fighting forces, falls into an ambush between Maquisards and Mobile Reserve Groups (GMR). To avoid a bloodbath, the Sub-Prefect orders the police to lay down their weapons in front of the resistance fighters.
