SYNOPSIS
Théo, a young actor in search of success, shows up at a casting for a secondary role in Dibona's next feature film. His performance is cut short when he is mistreated by the director. Discouraged by this repeated failure, Théo discovers a new streaming service: Deepflix. Théo falls in love with the platform, which allows him to generate unlimited on-demand movies through an AI. He rapidly develops an obsession and orders Deep-01, the revolutionary new camera that allows him to take part in the films he generates. A parallel life begins for Théo, where he can finally play the roles of his dreams, if he can't act in his own life. In the age of generative AI, Deepflix explores the pitfalls of algorithmically assisted cinema in the near future.
