SYNOPSIS

A Brazil/France co-production in partnership with Wag Films, Amopix and the France 3 channel. “Kabuki” is a stop motion animation film that poetically narrates the learning and life transformations of the transgender character Kabuki. Inspired by the many real stories of transgender people exterminated every day by intolerance, the film follows Kabuki's search for self-acceptance and identity in a violent and sexist world.
