SYNOPSIS

This is a social allegory about a hacker using the internet to take down a chaebol. A Korean chaebol faces a declaration of war from a hacker organization, which unleashes a contagious computer virus called the "money virus" that eradicates wealth. In fear, the public isolates the chaebol and expels him from the market to protect their own assets and avoid infection. Meanwhile, a young employee of the chaebol, who knows the secret of the money virus, faces a crucial decision: to save the chaebol or abandon him, a choice that will determine the chaebol's fate. The film innovatively employs the Unreal Engine 5 to create a significant number of 3D visual effects shots for cinematic storytelling, achieving camera techniques that would be impossible with live-action filming. This breakthrough and creative narrative approach earned the film the Best Artistic Originality Award at the FIRST Fantastic Film Festival 2024.
