SYNOPSIS

The main character goes to meet a friend. When the friend sees the protagonist’s injuries and asks how it happened, he hears an unbelievable story. The protagonist says that while fishing, he caught a pufferfish, and the pufferfish begged for its life. The friend, unable to believe it, questions how a pufferfish could talk. The pufferfish then reveals that it was originally a mermaid but was cursed by a witch to become a pufferfish, and proceeds to tell the protagonist how to break the curse.
