SYNOPSIS

An unlikely pair finds comfort in each other's company during a lunch break. ‘Leftovers’ tells the story of a diligent, hardworking man who habitually spends his lunch breaks alone, savoring a brief respite from his demanding job. One afternoon, as he sits on his usual bench, savoring his solitude, a woman unexpectedly joins him. Both of them sit in an awkward silence, each acutely aware of the other's presence. Suddenly, the woman begins to cry, her tears falling without any clear cause. The man, a stranger to her, feels helpless. He watches as she composes herself, then offers her a sandwich. She apologizes for her outburst, and he gently reassures her. In this brief interaction, they share a moment of generosity and understanding. When his alarm goes off, signaling the end of his break, she quietly departs. The next day, the man returns to the same bench, this time with two sandwiches. The woman joins him again, and they eat together, beginning to form a comforting routine. Each day, they relax a little more in each other's company, their bond growing stronger. Their friendship blossoms into something special. One day, as their lunch break ends, it's revealed that they are in a cemetery—the man works there, and the woman visits. This place, filled with memories and emotions, becomes their meeting point. Perhaps this is a unique moment that only the man can perceive, while the woman remains bound to this place in ways only she understands.
