SYNOPSIS

EDUCATED portrays the students of a tenth grade class in their last sex education lesson before they leave school in the summer. Somewhere between foreplay, contraception and finding a partner, the subject matter becomes a minor matter as the young people talk about their experiences, fears and expectations with engaging openness. The film provides intimate insights into the social relationships between the students and into their thoughts in the midst of puberty and graduation, while omnipresently addressing the question of what sexual education must achieve today.
