SYNOPSIS

Young Yangyang, not yet ten, obediently practised the violin at his mother's behest for an upcoming exam. Mother Han Qin naturally passed on her long-lost art dream to her son, supervised him in the cramped room, and served her father who killed time with card games all the weekend. Amidst the noise, she eagerly awaited the arrival of consonance. Teacher Xia, once esteemed, is now a home instructor after the troupe disbanded. Surrounded by the dissonance from the violin and his wife’s longing for a change in their stagnant lives, he was determined to eliminate the discordant parts.
