SYNOPSIS

As a teenager, Flore meets Habieb, an orphaned teenager living on the Indonesian island of Lombok. It was an encounter that shook her to the core. A few years later, she decides to return to film him, but Habieb has changed, and so has the island of Lombok. Unwittingly, Flore is swept up in a transgenerational process that overtakes her.
