SYNOPSIS

"The Window" tells the story of Vivian, whose life unfolds through the lens of a window in her family home. As a child, Vivian finds joy and sees the world outside the window as magical and beautiful. However, her strict upbringing constrains her freedom, and narrows her worldview. In her teenage years, Vivian notices Brian, her neighbor, through the window and experiences her first taste of love. Married to Brian, Vivian faces abuse and betrayal. She suppresses her pain for the greater good of her family, which has profound consequences for her mental health. Сonfined to a wheelchair, Vivian finally notices the beauty of life outside the window that she had overlooked. The window becomes a reminder that she did not live her life the way she wanted. In a poignant twist, Vivian sees a younger version of herself, a six-year-old Vivian, receiving a mental message from her seventy-year-old self. Vivian opens the window, steps outside to live her life differently. This story makes us think about the choices we make in life.
