SYNOPSIS
WATER 2 is a dense visual narrative reflecting the experience of MK from the Lebanese Civil War to the 1991 Gulf War, blending neo-pictorialism & surrealism. Water serves as a common thread, natural elements reflect the ambivalence of states of existence. Sound composition & variations in framing & rhythm result in a short film that is formally & acoustically vivid, hypnotic, & immersive.
