SYNOPSIS

Famous for playing onnagata (female roles), Tachibana Daigorô is a star of taishû engeki (popular travelling theater), a genre less recognized in Japan. "Floating Weed" is a dive into the daily life of an actor who lives totally for his art, performing constantly, both on stage and in life.
