SYNOPSIS

Back from the Camino de Santiago, Maria spends the summer in Sant'Arcangelo, Southern Italy, with her widowed grandfather, Pasquale. Here, Maria becomes friend with Latif, a young African migrant. Together, they help Pasquale renovate his wife's old social bakery to make bread for the entire community that has become multi-ethnic. The short film promotes peace, solidarity, friendship, and integration in the framework of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
