Once - The Journey, is the story of two very different women, protagonists of an intense love story, Sincere, passionate, symbiotic, at times morbid, eternal. Enchanting views that frame their history full of tenderness, desire, attraction and infinite love: from the multicolored lagoons, to the golden yellow expanses of the Andean plateaus, to the dazzling white of the Salar de Uyuni. Carlita, a freelance photographer, travels around the world for work. María is an introverted trumpet player and music is her only interest until she meets, Carlita, the woman who will make her feel emotions she had never been able to feel before. In the lives of the two women there are antithetical elements that will accompany them throughout the story: magic, blood, spirituality conceived at different levels. The magic that provides the feeling of love, that seeks the light and that will contrast with the healing ceremonies; blood, symbol of life and death, spirituality as a source of comfort. A story that leaves the viewer incredulous between the real and the dreamlike. A story in which it is not perceived where reality or the dream begins and vice versa.
