SYNOPSIS

This short film tells the story of an aging, retired tennis star who has early-onset dementia and has decided to seek the services of "exit guides," volunteers who help individuals with terminal or degenerative illnesses end their lives. One of the exit guides is a newcomer to the program, a young man who likely has a genetic condition that will eventually lead to his own dementia, while the other is a weary, but compassionate veteran of the exit guide program who is tasked with guiding the rookie. This story subtly tackles two of the major facets of life: the regrets that come with looking back on the past and the fears that come with looking towards the future.
