SYNOPSIS

Scotland, 1662. Fear and suspicion have run rampant across the country, due to the terrible witch trials that have claimed hundreds of lives; and even moreso, the notorious witch prickers who are paid to apprehend the alleged witches. John Dickson is one such pricker and accepts a contract to apprehend the feared witch Isobel Gowdie, but is forced to confront his own terrible deeds along the way.
