SYNOPSIS

Musical documentary around the sound creations of Getúlio Marinho, responsible for bringing the macumba points to the album. Through archival materials, music and testimonies, the film investigates the influence of religions of African origin on Brazilian music and popular culture from the end of the 1920s, a period that coincides with the expansion of radio and the recording industry.
