SYNOPSIS

A black-and-white film about the color red. What sounds like a pointless endeavor is perhaps the cleverest solution. The Color Red is about learning to see red with other eyes. The film accompanies an optical physicist and a painter as they deal with the color red. The question of how different red can be is joined by curiosity: do we "see" the color entirely without the film having to show it?
