SYNOPSIS
A box with fourteen painted on its side, found on the floodplains of a river, sparks a part fictional, part autobiographical story about previously unknown family members. Through a slowly shifting perspective ‘Fourteen’ presents Nathan as a boy obsessed with his age, as a father on a walk with his son, as part of a family-unit of three, encountered in a busy Saturday shopping street.
