SYNOPSIS

Susan lives a lonely life in suburban New York with her mother, grandmother and younger sister. It’s been a year since her father died, and she’s been unable to cope. When her mother brings a new man over to the house for the first time, Susan is forced to reckon with her grief, and one thing becomes totally clear: if Susan ever wants to move on, the only person she can count on is herself.
