SYNOPSIS

An individual in her late 20s of the Chinese diaspora finds herself purposeless in a place that only tries to assimilate her. Upon an uncanny encounter with a white box, she is pulled into a surreal speech therapy room, where a stern therapist of her age and ethnicity diagnoses her with aphasia. Regaining agency during the speech therapy, the protagonist re-examines her relationship with the city.
