SYNOPSIS

South America. Mauricette Nogood (27) works as a docker at the French Guiana port. The rest of the time, she is a slam poet. She's always felt insecure about her last name, imposed onto her ancestors at the end of slavery. Now she is fighting to change her family name, struggling against the inefficiency of French bureaucracy. It is time for her to announce her new name to her close circle.
