SYNOPSIS

An adaptation based on Neil Gaiman’s story “Down to the sunless sea”. Taken into a South African context, a mourning mother longs for her child who went to work in the mines to make a living. She recalls the painful memory of the day he died and how she warned him against working in the mines and wanting him to find a safer job.
