SYNOPSIS

Bernhard Fuchs was born in 1929 and was active as a child and teenager in the Jungvolk and in the Hitler Youth. He was enthusiastic about it and was also deployed to the "Schanzen" in France. The end of the war prevented him from actually going to war. It was only much later that he realized the manipulative techniques of the Hitler regime to prepare children for the war.
