SYNOPSIS

When a privileged young German couple returning from their caravan holiday is confronted with the situation of refugees at a ferry terminal, their holiday mood is brought to a premature end. During their night journey across the rough sea, the two are haunted by their own demons, and their relationship is put to a hard test.
