SYNOPSIS

In 1889, journalist Nellie Bly decides to go on a trip around the world in less than 80 days. She wishes to beat the fictional record set by Jules Verne’s novel in order to combat the social norms of her day which barred a woman from going on such a journey alone. On the night before her departure, in spite of dream-like visions, she must face her fears and try to carry out her feat.
