SYNOPSIS

The city of Vukovar, is a controversial place of memory of the sufferings for Croatia’s independence. An anonymous spectre wanders around a city flooded with dense particles of white pollen, carrying plastic bags through the cleaned up streets. “A Soft Hiss of this World” is an experience of appearance and disappearance: silence in the tumult, solitude in the crowd, stillness in the torment.
