SYNOPSIS
Flamingos 5895m N.N. is about the archives we create of our lives. My grandfather projects his carefully numbered die positives in his basement. They are the proof of his mountain adventures back in the days of his youth. The positives are filmed on 16mm negative and come to live anew, while the memory fades. The reality of everyday life in the German suburbia is juxtaposed to a far traveled past.
