Marco Polo tells the story of the tyrant Alaodin. We navigate between what's said and heard and what's written, between translation and interpretation, seeing and imagining. This manuscript multiplies as it gets transformed; the images remind us of other images, of lessons and addictions, illusions and cheating, murders and power. Stories are passed on. Words are the cause and the vehicle. They should be rubbed out.
