SYNOPSIS
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of fixing ceramic fractures with resin varnish sprinkled or mixed with gold, silver or platinum powder. It is part of a Wabi Sabi philosophy that posits that breaks and repairs are part of an object's history and should be shown rather than hidden, incorporated and also done to beautify the object, highlighting its transformation and history.
