SYNOPSIS

September 1914. Louis, a French soldier, brings his wounded comrade to a country hospital. He's disturbed by the appearance of a young woman dressed in black holding his dying friend's hand. After the war, Louis becomes severely depressed. Alone at home, he tries to end is life when, suddenly, the young woman he saw by his friend's side reappears.
