SYNOPSIS

A recording studio at night. Actor Denis Lavant is reading out loud a text by Marguerite Yourcenar, an extract from her short story "A lovely morning". The text is about little Lazarus, who is about to escape to join a troupe of traveling actors. Alone in front of the mirror, he is dreaming of all the characters he will get to play throughout his career to come, glimpsing the memories from his future life.
