SYNOPSIS

Paris 1940: To escape the Nazis who persecuted the Jews, Jakob and Roni commission their collection of paintings from a famous gallery owner to an unknown destination. Among the works is a special painting: the portrait of Esther, her 15-year-old daughter. Paris 2010: Lea, Esther's daughter receives a mysterious letter, which awakens painful memories. His daughter Iris, helps him solve the mystery
