SYNOPSIS
Forests are lost at a rate of ten million hectares a year, a surface area the size of Portugal. In the 21st century, traditional patriarchal societies that see women as an expense, as devalued - and less profitable than men - beings, still exist. And yet, women are the ones who mobilise around the world to save trees and keep their hard-won rights intact.
