SYNOPSIS

During the bloody years of the Mexican Revolution, a teenage peasant discovers the dead body of a soldier in a cactus field. When he decides to steal the uniform, the boy is captured by a wounded revolutionary fighter who mistakes him for an enemy. A painful journey across an inhospitable landscape pits the boy and the fighter against each other but also forces them to recognize their humanity.
