SYNOPSIS

New findings in epigenetics suggest that we inherit ancestral memories. Could we then possibly inherit images and sounds–audiovisual signals–through genetic transmissions? The music score is sonification of a hybrid DNA code, a chimera of plant, person and poetry. The visuals are my travel pics, when I visited my grandpa's China hometown in 2012, rephotographed in 2021 in my Singapore studio.
