SYNOPSIS

In 2015 in the city of Calais, Banksy produced a pastiche of the famous painting "The Raft of the Medusa" by the French painter Théodore Géricault. Banksy is warning us all about the current migration crisis in Europe. By recreating the famous painting, he continues Géricault's quest for freedom, two centuries earlier.
