SYNOPSIS

Fifty years ago, Adelino fled a Portugal under dictatorship. He settled in France in the hope of a better life. In his host country, he founded a family, and after a lifetime of work, he is about to receive the big gold medal. The story of Adelino is also the story of thousands of men and women who left their country to flee poverty and dictatorship.
