SYNOPSIS
M.A.R.Y is a film iteration of an experimental practice in collective storytelling. It demonstrate a new way of using cutting-edge technology to tell stories on behalf of marginalized voices, using AI generator GPT-2 as a script collaborator. Instead of following the well-trodden path of criticizing AI’s inherent bias, M.A.R.Y imagine new ways of reclaiming agency over it.
