SYNOPSIS

During the night of February 27 to 28, 2010, I lived through the Xynthia storm in a small village of 900 inhabitants: La Faute-sur-Mer. Christine, my partner, called me at 3:20 am, in despair: "I'm going to die drowning! She called the emergency services twice. They never came. 29 people died in the vicinity of my house located in the Port des Yachts street. 10 years later, I came back to La Faute.
